The arrival of Summer has prompted may enquiries about the band, not just from organisers wishing to book next year's events, but often musicians interested in coming along to play as well...so here are some facts that perhaps the reader may not have readily realised:

* There is NO weekly or annual subscription
* Instruments readily available if required at no cost
*
Unrivalled standard of help and instruction is freely given to aspiring players
* Motivating social activities are occasionally held
* The Concert Band uses both brass and woodwind instruments
* Players are not restricted to one style of music
*"Swing Band" and specialist smaller groups available

Ultimately a wealth of opportunity and encouragement is available to help towards the dedicated musician's personal achievement.

CRBB are one of the Midland's most active bands, busy with performances throughout the year. The Band can be seen playing somewhere most weekends during the
Spring and Summer months - leading prestigious parades such as the Shakespeare's Birthday parade in Stratford-on-Avon, playing at village Fetes and Galas, or
presenting a Sunday afternoon concert in the bandstand of one of the many parks across the region.

In November the Band leads the Royal British Legion Remembrance parades and church services in  Moreton-in-the-Marsh and Bengeworth, Evesham which shortly
afterwards are followed by a busy Winter of Christmas Concerts and carolling at various local venues.

Rehearsals take place each Wednesday from 7.30 - 9.30pm in:
The Community Centre, (Next to St Andrew's Church), Pershore Road, Great Hampton, Evesham, Worcestershire (map).

The Band currently has a number of vacancies, but as an ongoing item are keen to recruit further members being always interested to hear from anyone that
can play almost any instrument.

As well as information about the Celebration Reed and Brass Band you will find a link to Bands in the Park, which lists many other bands taking part in regular Sunday
concerts during the Summer months.
