It's got to be just the opportunity to invite experienced brass and woodwind players and those who may be new to the area to 'drop in' and join the band for a 'blow' on Wednesday evenings 7:15pm to 9:30pm at Hampton Community Hall, Pershore Road (next to St. Andrew's Church).
'Swing Band' / 'Clarinet Quartet' and Ordinary Band members and deputies: As it's holiday time once again all members and associates are urged to let your faithful organisers know when you WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE for jobs and social activities...so that we can continue to operate at the best possible level.
CRBB are one of the Midland's most active bands, busy with performances throughout the year. The Band can be seen playing somewhere most weekends during the Spring and Summer months - leading prestigious parades such as the Shakespeare's Birthday parade in Stratford-on-Avon, playing at village Fetes and Galas, or presenting a Sunday afternoon concert in the bandstand of one of the many parks across the region.
In November the Band leads the Royal British Legion Remembrance parades and church services in Moreton-in-the-Marsh and Bengeworth, Evesham which shortly afterwards are followed by a busy Winter of Christmas Concerts and carolling at various local venues.
Rehearsals take place each Wednesday
from 7.30 - 9.30pm in the Community Centre, (Next to St Andrew's Church), Pershore Road, Great Hampton, Evesham, Worcestershire (map).
The Band currently has a number of vacancies, but as an ongoing item are keen to recruit further members being always interested to hear from anyone that can play almost any instrument.
As well as information about the Celebration Reed and Brass Band you will find a link to
Bands in the Park, which lists many other bands taking part in regular Sunday concerts during the Summer months.
